Who we are
A gaming desk that plays before it posts.
SavageBattleWarriors started in a share-house on Little Eveleigh Street in 2018, three friends who refused to score a game they hadn't finished. That rule stuck. Every review you read here is written after the credits roll, benchmarks logged and screenshots ours.
Today we're a small Redfern crew of writers, speedrunners, and one very opinionated cat, covering RPGs, competitive shooters, and cosy indies with the same tropical energy and zero sponsor spin.
How we work
Independent, reader-funded, refreshingly loud.
No publisher owns a word we write. Membership and community keep the lights on, which means the only people we answer to are the ones reading. We disclose every review copy, log our test rigs, and re-score games when patches change the experience.
Drop by the Redfern studio on games nights, Thursdays from 6pm — controllers, cold drinks, and heated debates about frame pacing included.
